Chromebook, the Chrome-OS running notebooks are available across many markets, including India but it's premium avatar aka Pixel isn't the most popular (and cheap) device around. It's got a touch display and is possibly the best-looking Chromebook until now. But that could soon change, as Google is reportedly working on the Pixel v2.0 which is slated for release in the coming months.
Speaking on the sidelines of Team Work 2015 event, a Google representative has been quoted saying the following, "We do have a new Pixel coming out and it will be coming out soon. We will be selling it but I just have to set your expectations: this is a development platform. This is really a proof of concept. We don't make very many of these — we really don't."
If you notice on the 'not many of these' part, it is easy to understand Google's stance with the project which is why not many of Pixels are floating around the globe and the same can be expected out of Pixel 2 as well. Proof of concept, however comes across as an innovative term and just like the first Pixel, one can hope that Pixel 2 takes the concept to another level.

We're not sure as to what 'concept will be followed for the second Pixel but all we hope is, something worth waiting for and priced much more effectively than the first Pixel. Will we ever get the Pixels in India? Considering the country's vast developer hub, one can't discount the fact of Pixel 2 making an India debut as well.
